Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) would create role models for women entrepreneurs in order to encourage them to play their role for the economic stability of the country, said Samina Fazil, President WCCI here on Wednesday. Addressing the executive committee meeting of the chamber here in a local hotel on Wednesday, she said that main objective behind the creation of Women Chamber was to bring women in limelight and resolve their problems in establishing their businesses.

She informed the members that Women Chamber would hold a national level seminar on the occasion of international women day, which surely would prove morale booster for the women entrepreneurs of this area.

"Present government under the dynamic leadership of President Musharraf is playing important role in empowerment of women on all levels with special stress on economic empowerment", she said adding that women are half of the total population of Pakistan and goals of development of economic stability would never be attained until active involvement of women.

She said that with the establishment of chamber, women entrepreneurs would have lot of opportunities and they would feel comfortable in establishing their businesses and financial matters. She said that chamber would give proper training to business entrepreneurs and make a strategy for introducing the products of the women industrialists on international level. Participants of the meeting discussed the future strategy and membership issues of the chamber.
